MilitaryResumes.com in the News

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) October 28, 2007
MilitaryResumes.com, the military transition resume experts, is announcing the launch of their redesigned web site today.  The site, located at www.MilitaryResumes.com, delivers new functionality that benefits former-military job seekers who need military resumes, federal resumes or civilian resumes.

The redesigned MilitaryResumes.com was soft-launched on October 1, 2007 and began providing a streamlined buying experience for military veteran job seekers who need military resumes since that date. While MilitaryResumes.com has always provided expert military-to-civilian resume writing services, the new site enables users to purchase military resume writing and career coaching services via shopping cart functionality in real-time. This can be especially helpful for military veteran job seekers beginning the military-to-civilian transition from a non-US military base.

“The new MilitaryResumes.com will make our military resume writer services easier to utilize for our many customers who are located around the world,” said Julie Landversicht, vice president of business development. “We find that military veterans and transitioning military are highly motivated job seekers, and we want to ensure that when they choose MilitaryResumes.com and our expert military resume writers, we can get their military resume, federal resume or civilian resume in their hands as quickly as they need it.”

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) July 29, 2007
MilitaryResumes.com, the military-to-civilian resume and transition experts, recently sponsored the Allen Stone Memorial Races that took place Saturday, July 21, 2007. The races, which included a Run-Swim-Run, a 5K on the Boardwalk, and one mile race for children, occurred at Neptune’s Park - 31st Street near the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

“MilitaryResumes.com was honored to be a sponsor of the Allen Stone Memorial Races,” said Tim Best, president. “As a company that specializes in preparing a military-to-civilian resume, as well as a business that is owned by and employs veterans, we have a special appreciation of the skills and dedication that military service members bring to civilian jobs. We hope that this sponsorship was another way to help those who serve our country and our community.”

The Allen Stone Memorial Run first began in 1999 as the “Brace Heart Run-Swim-Run.” Allen Stone, a Virginia Beach Navy SEAL, competed in the first race and won in his age category. Shortly after the race, he died in a SEAL training accident. The race was renamed to honor Stone’s bravery and service to his nation. All donations from the event go to the Naval Special Warfare Foundation and the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
